Enjoy it Pat. Those of us on the other side of the mountains can't tell yet. Cold, wet and a chance of snow. Could be Fall, Winter or Spring. It all looks the same here.

I would love to see rain right now...

Sub-zero temps every morning for the past week. This has been an usually cold winter for us here in Alaska. We've had over 3 foot of snow on the ground since late November (not unusual). But the days are getting longer (12 hrs) and the sun is starting to melt the snow a little, and warm things up to the mid twenties during the day.

We'll be caught up with spring around mid April. Til then we'll pretend to still love winter in Alaska.

Sunny and 80 degrees in the middle of Arkansas this week. Blooms everywhere, trees greening up, chirds burping.    I love spring, too. I love a little of all seasons and am happy we have four distinct, fairly equal length seasons here.

I grew up and lived most of my adult life within a few hundred miles of you Ron. Just the other side of the Mighty Mis'sip... Moved away in 2000 for this life of adventure.

The summers here make up for the long, dark, cold winters - along with an number of other things that make it so unique.

But I love coming home.

Tony, were you in Memphis or further East than that? And, where in Alaska are you?
